
For the past 20 years, agronomist Stéphane D’Amato has been working within the grain industry, from which 8 years as a trader, analyst and broker for the private, cooperative and govermental sectors. For the last 13 years, he has owned and operated AXIS AGRICULTURE INC. Member of l'Ordre des agronomes du Québec, he is part of the legislative commitee since 1998. He also participated in the creation of I.M.A.C., a unique association of grain producers whose objectives are to give its members technical support in the marketing of grains.
He graduated from McGill University in 1984 with a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics. Furthermore, he completed his academics with a Certificate in Land Planning at Université du Québec à Montréal and a Certificate in Law at Université Laval.
